Bob Cheung Yin Pok, born on October 5, 1980, in Hong Kong, is a singer and actor who was formerly a member of the band Akago. After his time with the band, he entered into contracts with TVB and Shaw Brothers. Before entering the entertainment industry, Cheung worked various jobs including as a computer company employee, restaurant waiter, lifeguard, and flyer distributor. In 2005, he formed Akago with Feng Jiahui and Wu Deyao but the group disbanded four years later due to contract expiration. Subsequently, he pursued Christian music ministry with Boy'z member Zhang Zhiheng, collaborating with other Christian artists and both were baptized in 2011. Despite not winning, he gained popularity from participating in singing competitions in China in 2012 and 2013. In 2013, he joined TVB's 27th acting class and by 2014, was acting full-time, notably in the series House of Spirits where he received attention for his role and the duet performed therein. He garnered several award nominations in 2016. In 2018, Bob Cheung injured his cervical spine while shooting Life on the Line but recovered after four months and extensive physical therapy. This role brought him further acclaim, leading to a best supporting actor nomination. In December 2018, he held his first concert, marking 13 years in the industry. As of 2022, he collaborates with Ng Lok-sing on music projects and has released some solo music, including the EP 堅持 in 2018 and a single "我們純屬意外" in 2024.
