Adrian Hines (born in Miami, Florida), known professionally as M.C. A.D.E., was an American rapper and producer. A pioneer of Miami bass, MC ADE released the single âBass Rock Expressâ in 1985, which was considered the beginning of the subgenre. He recorded for 4-Sight, an independent label owned by his father, Billy Hines. His stage name stood for âAdrian Does Everything,â referring to his dual role as rapper and producer. MC ADE released the album Just Somethin' to Do (1987), which included the recording âRomantic Rhymeâ, followed by How Much Can You Take (1989). His discography also featured the tracks âBass Mechanicâ and the albums An All Out Bash (1991), In the Arms of Bass (1994), and Ain't No Thang Like the Game (1996).
