Bluebottle Kiss, an Australian indie rock band, was formed in Sydney, Australia in early 1993 by Jamie Hutchings on guitar and vocals. The group initially included Simon Adams on drums and Sian Williams on bass guitar. Ben Fletcher replaced Williams on bass guitar and backing vocals later that year. In April 1995, Bluebottle Kiss released their debut studio album, Higher Up the Firetrails, on Murmur, an imprint of Sony Music Australia. Their second album, Fear of Girls (August 1996), was produced by Jack Endino. Bluebottle Kiss released their third studio album, Patient, in May 1999 via Citadel Records. The band's fifth studio album, Come Across (2003), was named Featured Album in November 2003 by Australian music journalist Ed Nimmervoll. Bluebottle Kiss disbanded in 2007 and reformed in 2022.
