Biography

Blank Manuskript is an Austrian progressive art rock project from Salzburg. The group initially gained traction with their debut album Tales from an Island (Impressions from Rapa Nui) released in 2008. Blank Manuskript is known for their theatrical performances and the multi-instrumental talents of its members: Jakob Widerin, Peter Baxrainer, Simon Strasshofer, Dominik Wallner, and Alfons Wohlmuth. Their subsequent releases include A Profound Path (2013), The Waiting Soldier (2015), Studio - Live - Session ORF RadioKulturhaus (2018), KrÃ¡snÃ¡ Hora (2019), and Himmelfahrt (2020). The band has performed extensively across Europe, appearing at major festivals such as Festival Crescendo 2019, Night of the-Prog 2022, Woodstock Forever 2022, Minnuendo 2022, and ArtRock-Festival Reichenbach 2023. In 2023, they released their album A Live Document.
