Biography

Black Lungs is a Canadian punk rock band formed in 2005 in St. Catharines, Canada. The group was established by the singer and guitarist Wade MacNeil, a member of the bands Alexisonfire and Gallows. The original ensemble included the musicians Jordan Hastings, Sammi Bogdanski, and George Pettit. Their debut album, Send Flowers (2008), was released through Dine Alone Records. Their recordings include the EP Valley of the Dolls (2010) and a split recording with the band Cancer Bats (2011). Their discography includes the album Pagan Holiday (2015), which was recorded in 2011 with the producer Nick Blagona. The group consists of MacNeil, the bassist Phil Waring, the guitarist Scott Savarie, and the drummer George Clark.
