Biography

Yume Bitsu was an American psychedelic rock band from Portland, Oregon. Formed in 1995 by Adam Forkner (guitar/vocals), Franz Prichard (guitar), Alex Bundy (keyboard/electronics), and Jason Anderson (drum/percussion). The group's debut album Giant Surface Music Falling to Earth Like Jewels from the Sky was self-released in 1998. Their second album, the self-titled Yume Bitsu, followed in November 1999. In 2000, they released their third LP, Auspicious Winds. Their final album, The Golden Vessyl of Sound was released by K Records in 2002. The band also released several EPs, including the split 12-inch vinyl EP with Andrew Reiger of Elf Power in 2002 on Planaria Records and Wabi Morning: Two Morning Expressions in 2003 on Burnt Toast Vinyl. Yume Bitsu disbanded in 2002.
