Big Scenic Nowhere is an American rock supergroup from California, formed in 2009. The group initially began as a one-off project featuring Gary Arce of Yawning Man. In 2019, Big Scenic Nowhere was revived by Arce and Bob Balch of Fu Manchu, releasing their debut EP Dying on the Mountain (2019). Their full-length debut album Vision Beyond Horizon followed in January 2020, featuring collaborations with Alain Johannes. The band's second EP, Lavender Blues, was released in October 2020, produced by Chris Goss of Masters of Reality and in January 2022, they released their sophomore album The Long Morrow. Other notable guest appearances on their releases include Per Wiberg and Reeves Gabrels.
