Biography
Betta Lemme is an Italian-Canadian singer and songwriter putting out a dreamy brand of dance-pop. Lemme was born in Montreal on April 30th 1993, to parents of Italian descent. She started experimenting with the piano at the age of two but despite this early start was rejected from music colleges due to her inability to read music. She took up a career in modelling instead but, missing music, moved to New York to pursue a career in the industry.
Her career started in 2016 with a collaboration with DJ duo Sofi Tukker which she co-wrote. In 2018 Lemme released her solo debut, 'Bambola'. The song fared well in Europe, netting Lemme top-five chart positions in France, Italy, Poland and Bulgaria, with a number one in Israel. She followed up with the single 'Give It' later that year and, in 2019, 'Kick the Door' and 'Play'.
