Biography
Benoit & Sergio is a dance pop and house music duo from Washington, D.C., and Berlin that formed in 2009. The ensemble consists of Benoit Simon and Benjamin "Sergio" Myers. They achieved early professional recognition with the EP What I've Lost (2009) and are famous for an intelligent electronic sound intended for dance but outside the musical mainstream. Myers moved to Berlin in 2010 to pursue music full-time. The group achieved international prominence with the track âWalk & Talkâ (2011), which was described as a âzeitgeist songâ. They were named the iTunes Breakthrough Electronic Artists of the Year in 2011 and were featured among Resident Advisor's Top 10 Live Acts in 2011 and 2012. Their discography includes the Covers EP (2011) and the EP That's the Party Talking (2014).
