Bengio, born Ben-Giacomo Wortmann on July 7, 1993, in Fulda, Germany, is a singer and songwriter. His early exposure to German music came through his father, who was active in the music industry. Bengio's first album, B.E.N.G.I.O., released in 2013, led to a nomination for the You FM Newcomer Award. The single "Ich komm nach Hause jetzt" gained him significant attention and led to a collaboration with Samy Deluxe. In late 2015, Bengio released his first EP, Unterwegs. The single "Irgendwas" featuring Yvonne Catterfeld in December 2016 marked his first chart success. His second album, Wunderschönes Chaos, was released in 2018, with notable singles including "Perfeqt" and "Wir und Glück" (featuring Lina Maly).
