Biography
Belako is a post-punk band from MunguÃa, Spain, formed in 2011. The group gained early recognition by winning the Euskal Irrati Telebista demo contest and securing third place on Radio 3's competition in 2012, leading to performances at Bilbao BBK Live and as opening act for Elvis Costello. Belako released their debut album Eurie in early 2013. In 2014, they released two parallel EPs, Bele Beltzak, Baino Ez and AAAA!!!!. Their second LP, Hamen, was released in January 2016 under Mushroom Pillow Records. In February 2018, they released their third album, Render Me Numb, Trivial Violence, which included the singles "Render Me Numb", "Over the Edge" and "Lungs".
