Biography

Pablo Carbonell Sánchez-Gijón, born on July 28, 1962, in Cádiz, Spain, is a singer and television presenter. In the early 1980s, he formed a duo with Pedro Reyes in Huelva. He participated in the TVE program La bola de cristal. In 1984, Carbonell founded the rock group Los Toreros Muertos with Many Moure and Guillermo Piccolini. The band released several albums, including Toreros Muertos 30 Años de Exitos (1986) and Por Biafra (1987). After the group disbanded in 1992, Carbonell pursued a solo career with albums like Aceitunas y Estrellas (2000) and Rock and Roll Alimaña (2004). He also ventured into acting, directing the film Atún y Chocolate (2004), for which he received a nomination for Best New Actor at the Goya Awards.
