Beautiful Eulogy, an American hip hop group from Portland, Oregon, was formed in 2011. The trio consists of rappers Bryan Winchester and Thomas Terry, known professionally as Braille and Odd Thomas respectively, along with producer Courtland Urbano. The group coalesced during the recording sessions for Braille's seventh studio album Native Lungs and Odd Thomasâs planned second studio album. Their debut album, Satellite Kite, was released on June 19, 2012, followed by their second album, Instruments of Mercy, on October 29, 2013. Both albums received critical acclaim for their experimental sound and deep theological lyrics. Beautiful Eulogy is known for blending various styles of hip hop with genres such as folk, electronic, hymn tunes, and contemporary worship music. The group has been praised for its innovative approach to hip-hop production, incorporating unconventional sounds and instruments into their music.
