Bürger Lars Dietrich (born February 2, 1973 in Potsdam) is an entertainer, rap and pop musician, comedian, presenter, actor, dubbing and audio book narrator, book author and dancer from Germany. Born Lars Dietrich, he celebrated major successes in his career as a musician with the remake of Jürgen Drews' hit "Ein Bett im Kornfeld" (1995) and with the song "Sexy Eis" (1996). Both songs were created together with TV entertainer Stefan Raab. The new version of "Ein Bett im Kornfeld" reaches number 27 in Germany. Original performer Jürgen Drews is also involved in the recording. The song "Sexy Eis" reaches number 12 in Germany in 1996 and climbs to number 11 in both Austria and Switzerland. The accompanying album "Dicke Dinger" reaches number 54 in the German charts and number 31 in Austria. After that, Bürger Lars Dietrich has fewer chart successes. Instead, he attracts attention with individual songs. In 1996, he sings "Hymne an die Maus", a song for the 25th anniversary of the children's TV show Die Sendung mit der Maus. Four years later, the singer contributed "Löwenzahn", a song for the 20th anniversary of the children's TV show Löwenzahn. In 2006, Bürger Lars Dietrich made it back into the German charts at number 47 with the single "Schwammalarm im Ozean". In the meantime, the versatile artist has also enjoyed success as a guest in various TV formats. Citizen Lars Dietrich also tries his hand at acting and dubbing. In 2022, Bürger Lars Dietrich is once again attracting attention musically. Together with the Finnish rock band, he releases "Hard Rock Hallelujah", the German version of the 2006 hit "Hard Rock Hallelujah".
