Biography

Baracuda was a German electronic band formed in 2002 by Axel Konrad and Ole Wierk of Suprime Records. The group consisted of Tobias Lammer, known as DJ Toby Sky, and vocalist Suny. Baracuda's debut single "Damn! (Remember the Time)", a cover of Matthias Reim's "Verdammt, Ich Lieb' Dich", was released in 2003 and reached Number 12 on the German Single Chart. Their follow-up track "I Leave The World Today" gained popularity during the summer of 2003. In July 2005, Baracuda released their third single "Ass Up", which peaked at Number 70 in the German Singles Charts. Subsequent releases included "La Di Da" in May 2007 and "I Will Love Again" in August 2008, a cover of Lara Fabian's hit from 2000 that reached Number 34 on the German Singles Chart. The group's final single "Where Is the Love", released in January 2008, was a knockoff version of Nightwish's "Amaranth" and Alice Cooper's "Poison". Baracuda parted ways with EMI Music a few years later and have not performed together since.
