Biography
Real name Steven Teby Bechara, French rapper of Ivorian origin Cheu-B was born in Paris on October 27, 1995. Between 2013 and 2016, he made a name for himself as a member of the group XV Barbar (also known simply as XV), before releasing his first solo project, the mixtape Welcome to Skyland, in 2017. The following year, Cheu-B continued to add to his discography with several singles leading up to the album Icône (2019), featuring Siboy, Leto and Cinco, among others. At the same time, he received numerous guest appearances from Niska, Alkpote, Kaaris, 4Keus and Hayce Lemsi. In 2021, he released the mixtape WTSKL, Vol. 2, featuring contributions from his brother Kepler and Gazo, Da Uzi, Kodes and Leto, followed by the EPs Big and Sky in 2023. Two years later, in January, Cheu-B returned with Bigsky Energy, featuring contributions from Leto, Guy2Bezbar, Franglish, RSKO and Kepler. October of the same year saw the release of Skymusic, an album produced with Ghost Killer Track and featuring guest appearances by Oboy, So La Lune and Liberty. Its lead single, "Catalina", featuring SDM, charted on numerous platforms and reached No. 11 on the SNEP chart.
