Bagad Brieg, a traditional Breton musical ensemble, was founded in 1978 in Briec, Finistère, France. Led by Michel Droual, the group began participating in national bagad championships, reaching the first category in 1986. In 1995, the ensemble released Dalc'h da Noz, followed by Gogo Droch (2000). Bagad Brieg won the title of Champion of Brittany in 2007 and participated in the World Pipe Band Championships, securing the Grade II title in 2014. Despite internal changes, including key members leaving in 2008 and 2010, the group maintained their presence in competitions, securing second place in the National Bagad Championships in 2022 and 2024 under different leaderships.
