Biography

Bae Doo Hoon, born on July 15, 1986 in Seoul, South Korea is a singer and musical actor signed to Blue Stage, is notably a member of the vocal quartet Forestella. Initially pursuing acting at the Korea National University of Arts, Bae realized his childhood dream of singing by engaging in musical theater and collaborating as a guest vocalist with the gugak-rock fusion band AUX. His musical journey took a significant turn during his navy service in 2013 when he reached the semi-finals on The Voice of Korea and appeared on Hidden Singer. Post-military, he debuted in the musical theater scene with roles in productions such as Pungwolju and Our Bad Magnet. His path to Forestella began with his participation in the second season of Phantom Singer, where he eventually teamed up with his future bandmates during the competition's trio stage. Despite an initial loss in the duo stage, he was chosen for his strong musical theater expertise, leading to the formation of Forestella. The group triumphed in the competition, debuting with their album Evolution on March 14, 2018. Other than that, he has released multiple soundtracks for television series, including "Big Cat" for A Killer Party in 2020 and "Dear" for Black Out in 2024.
