Biography

Born on 2 October 1991 in Ulsan, Kim Ho-joong began making moves on the South Korean classical crossover scene in 2020 and shot to number one with his debut LP Our Family (우리家) that year. He was snapped up by Warner Music Korea and kept up the momentum on his second full-length, The Classic Album, the first volume (My Favorite Arias), which also claimed the top spot on South Korea's Circle Chart. He was named Best New Artist at the Golden Disc Awards that year while The Classic Album's second volume, My Favorite Songs (2020), also charted high at number two. After being discharged from military service in June 2022, Kim Ho-joong resumed his musical endeavours with the Panorama album for Think Entertainment, which he followed with the A Life (세상) EP in 2024. The EP spawned a single in "If I Leave" (그대... 떠나도), which went to number 63 in South Korea.
