Biography

Ronald Ray Bryant, known professionally as Baby Bash, was born on October 18, 1975, in Vallejo, California, and began his career as a rapper and singer. After early collaborations with local groups, he released his debut solo album Savage Dreams in 2001, followed by On Tha Cool in 2002. The breakthrough came with the 2003 single "Suga Suga" from the album The Smokin' Nephew, which entered the Billboard charts and established him as a mainstream artist. In 2005, the single "Baby I'm Back" featuring Akon further expanded his reach, while the 2007 album Cyclone produced the title track "Cyclone" featuring T‑Pain, which achieved platinum status and reached number seven on the Billboard 200. Subsequent releases, including Bashtown (2011) and Unsung: The Album (2013), continued to feature collaborations with artists such as Lloyd, E‑40, and Paul Wall, and maintained his presence on the charts. Baby Bash’s work has earned multiple certifications, including a platinum single for "Suga Suga" and a gold album for Cyclone.
