Hajar Sbihi, a Moroccan national, began her professional career in Spain. Introduced to music at the age of 12, when her choir gave her the opportunity to take part in the song "Bokra " and to rub shoulders with Quincy Jones and Red One, the singer who opted for the alias Asha gradually came to be noticed for her composing talents. By the late 2010s, she was writing for a number of well-known artists, including C. Tangana with "Booty" (2018) or Lola Indigo for "Ya no quiero ná" (2018), and managed to break into the Spanish music industry. At the age of 23, she achieved wider recognition when her song "Palante" (2020), performed by Solea Fernandez, was nominated to represent Spain at the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Following this, Asha presents her first song, "Bésame", which quickly passes the million listener mark. Already acclaimed with platinum records for her compositions, Asha re-releases with new hit singles, "Opina" (2020), "Pasaporte" (2021) and "French Samba" (2022), and gradually raises her international profile.
