Avant Garde is a dance group produced by choreographer akane, formed in Osaka in February 2022. They made their debut in the dance competition "THE DANCE DAY" in the same year. The group has 19 members (nona, pani, moca, fuka, seira, nagano, ayane, oya, sono, harune, miyuu, macchan, aimu, kotone, kohana, chacha, ui). The genre is creative dance based on J-POP and Showa-era songs. Their first single "OKP Cipher" (2025) will be distributed on various digital distribution platforms. In 2023, she made it to the finals of "America's Got Talent" in the U.S. and performed in the Kohaku Uta Gassen in 2023, and was selected as a person to watch in 2023 by "VOGUE JAPAN.
