Biography
Authentic Unlimited is an American bluegrass and traditional gospel band formed in Hartford, Tennessee, in 2021. Led by singer and guitarist John Meader, it includes three former Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver backing musicians, guitarists Jerry Cole, Eli Johnston and fiddler Stephen Burwell, as well as Jesse Brock (mandolin). After a first album of the same name released in 2022 on Billy Blue Records, two albums of gospel covers followed: Gospel Sessions, Vol. 1 in 2022 and Gospel Sessions, Vol. 2 in 2024. The same year sees the release of the third album, So Much for Forever, as well as a collection of Christmas carols, Christmas Time Is Here.
