Atom Seed was an English funk metal band from London formed in 1989. The group included former Zoodoll guitarist Simon James, bassist Chris Huxter, singer Paul Cunningham, and drummer Amir. Atom Seed released their debut EP in 1990 and gained traction with the album Get In Line in 1991. Notable singles include "I Don't Want To Talk About It" (1990) and "Rebel" (1991). After releasing the EP Dead Happy in 1992 with London Records, the band was dropped from the label. Atom Seed disbanded, leaving an unreleased album, Hard Sell Paranoia. Following the breakup, Chris Dale, who replaced Huxter, performed with Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson and later joined Tank and Sack Trick. Simon James formed Moko Jumbi.
