Assjack is an American heavy metal band formed in 1999, led by Hank Williams III and Garrett Bremer. Their music blended elements of thrash metal, death metal, hardcore punk, and metalcore. The group emerged from Williams' live performances and evolved into a punk metal band between 2008 and 2010. Their debut studio album, Assjack, was released on August 4, 2009, under Curb Records, with Williams handling all instruments and vocals in the recording. The band's lineup for live performances has included Gary Lindsey on vocals, Joe Buck on bass, and various drummers and guitarists over the years. In 2009, plans for new material was halted due to contractual issues with Curb Records.
