Biography
Guillaume Banet, known professionally as Aslove, was born on November 25, 1995, in Lons-le-Saunier, France. He began his musical journey at age five, learning drums and later mastering several other instruments. His stage name is derived from Jimi Hendrix's album Axis Bold As Love. Aslove started producing electronic music in 2015 after discovering Justice and began DJing at local clubs. He released his first cover on SoundCloud in January 2015, "Cupid's Chokehold", which gained international attention. His breakthrough came with the release of "Put Your Records On", a cover of Corinne Bailey Raeâs song, which topped AirPlay charts in France and reached over 10 million streams. In August 2017, Aslove remixed Katy Perryâs "Bon Appétit" becoming the first French DJ to officially remix one of her songs. He signed with Capitol Music France and released several singles including "So High" featuring Norma Jean Martine and "Good Ideas".
