Biography

Ashley Beedle, born on November 25, 1962, in Hemel Hempstead, England, is a British house music DJ and producer. He began his career in the late 1980s during the acid house era, inspired by Norman Jay's sets on KISS FM. Beedle formed the Black Science Orchestra in the early 1990s, releasing several club hits including "Where Were You?" and "Strong". He also collaborated with David Hill and Rocky & Diesel as The Ballistic Brothers, producing London Hooligan Soul, and later with Rocky & Diesel as X-Press 2. Beedle's remix of Elton John's "Are You Ready for Love" reached Number 1 in 2003. In 2010, he collaborated with Darren Morris on the album Mavis.
