Hip hop artist and rapper Ash Island was born Yoon Jin-young in Busan, South Korea on August 11, 1999. Formerly known as Clloud, he first came to prominence as a contestant on Season 2 of rap survival reality series High School Rapper, where he came in fourth place. he was able to secure a record contract with Ambition Musik in 2018. He released three singles in 2018 - âNight Vibe (Remake)â, âHow R Uâ, and âDeadstarâ (featuring Changmo) â before preparing his debut album. In early 2019, he issued the single âForgot Uâ (featuring Bloo) and his debut full-length, Ash. The album also featured the single âParanoidâ. He also collaborated with numerous artists including Has Swan, Kim Hyo-eun, Leellamarz, and The Quiett. In 2020, he released the single âErrorâ (featuring Loopy).
