Biography
Artio is an English alternative rock band from Leeds, founded in 2018 by vocalist Rae Brazill and bassist Ieuan Jones. They released their first single "All Things End" in June 2020, followed by the EPs Stand Alone and Do Your Dance in Septemberâ¯2020. In 2021 the band issued the twoâpart EP Shapeshifter: As Above and Shapeshifter: So Below, and guitarist Jai Akhurst joined permanently. After signing with Slam Dunk Records in 2022, they released the EP Pyrokid in Mayâ¯2023, featuring singles "Pyrokid" and "Product of My Own Design". Their debut album Babyface came out on 1â¯Marchâ¯2024, supported by UK tours. In 2025 they toured Europe, released "Split Soul" and signed to Lab Records, before the release of their sophomore full-length, Soul Riot, in January 2026.
