Biography

Arika Kane, born on July 28, 1985, in Killingly, Connecticut, is an American singer and songwriter. In 2009, she signed with BSE Recordings and released her self-titled debut album, Arika Kane, in February 2010. The album included the singles "Bcuz I Luv U", "4 the Lovers", and "Here With Me", which became her first platinum-selling single. In April 2012, Kane released her second studio album, Substance, which peaked at number seven on the digital charts. Throughout her career, Kane's music has been featured on several VH1 and MTV television shows, including Love & Hip Hop (NY) and Single Ladies. In March 2014, she released the single "It’s There" featuring Brian McKnight, which was included on her album Thru the Veil, released later that year.
