Aria Tesolin, born on August 20, 1993, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, is a mezzo-soprano known for her operatic vocals. As a child singer, she performed opera arias at age eight, including "Habanera" from Bizet's Carmen. Her first live concert performance on August 3, 2002, was featured on Citytv News. At twelve, Tesolin released her debut album Baby Soprano, which included tracks that appeared on iTunes opera charts in thirteen countries. In 2011, she released her self-titled EP featuring "Dolce" and "The Key". Her album Ascension, released in 2013, showcased original music in a pop classical fusion style. "The Key" reached number 5 on the Hot 100 Singles Chart and Number 1 on the Top 30 Indie Chart for Top 40. In January 2014, Tesolin was nominated for three 2014 New Music Awards by New Music Weekly.
