Biography

Ari Goldwag, born in 1979 in West Hempstead, New York, is an Orthodox Jewish singer-songwriter, producer, and composer of contemporary Jewish religious music. He began his musical journey as a child singer, joining the Miami Boys Choir at age 10 and becoming a soloist on five albums and three videos before his voice changed at 14. Goldwag launched his professional career after moving to Israel in 2000, releasing his debut album Lishuascha Kivinu in 2003. Subsequent albums include Simcha B'libi (2004), Shabbos Get Ready (2007), and A Cappella Soul. Goldwag has also notably collaborated with Miriam Israeli and Benny Friedman and produced albums for other artists.
