Biography

Annette Campagne is an English and French singer-songwriter, born in 1963 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. She has been playing folk-rock since the mid-1980s. She first came to prominence as co-founder of the renowned band Hart Rouge from 1986 to 1996. She then explored the world of her solo career with a debut album entitled Sauter de Haut in 1997. After several years of musical research, she returned with an English-language album, You Gotta Laugh , in 2009. The album was nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award. In 2010, the French-language album J'Peux pas Demander Mieux is released. In 2014, she released the French-language album Papillon Amiral. This album was crowned Best Francophone Album of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards. The song "Tu es ma lumière" is played on Canadian radio stations. In 2018, she responds with an English-language album, I AM. This album is nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award.
