Annabelle's Garden, a German darkwave/neofolk band from Buchholz in der Nordheide, was formed in 1991 by Derek B. Richards, Anya Zuchold, Peter Spiegel, and Jan Drossart. The group emerged from the fusion of Beyond Despair and La Lisa. Annabelleâs Garden initially released numerous cassette tapes and contributed to compilations such as 040 - Hamburg Strikes Back (1992). Their breakthrough came with the albums Wo Sind Nur Eure Götter Hin? (1993) and Blütenrausch (1995), released on the British label Kenaz, which established them in Germany. The band collaborated with artists like Clair Obscur and performed at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in 1994 and 1995. In 2013, Annabelle's Garden experienced a resurgence with the release of Time's No Measure 1987-1993 through Dais Records.
