Amy Elizabeth Pearson, born on July 19, 1985, in Birmingham, England, is an English singer-songwriter. Pearson began her career by signing with P.O.E.T Productions and later moved to Australia, where she signed with Sony BMG at the age of 18. Her debut album, Who I Am, was released on April 19, 2008, featuring singles "Don't Miss You", which reached Number 1 and was certified Gold, "Not Me" (released in 2007), and "Ready to Fly" (released in 2008). Pearson also collaborated with Guy Sebastian on "We Both Know" for Home: Songs of Hope & Journey. In late 2006, she began working on her debut album Who I Am, which was originally set for release in late 2007 but was pushed back to early 2008. Pearson's song "Aftershock" from her cancelled second album was covered by Demi Lovato and featured as a bonus track on the latter's third album, Unbroken. In December 2011, Pearson signed with Sony/ATV publishing, beginning a new career in the UK. She has since written several tracks, including "Good Love" and "Hurricane", and collaborated with various artists such as Chris Brogan and Myon & Shane54.
