American Bang was an American Southern rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2005. Initially known as Bang Bang Bang, they self-released an album under that name before signing to Warner Bros. Records in 2006 and changing their name to American Bang. Their first EP under the new name, Move to the Music, was released in 2007. The band's full-length album, American Bang, followed in 2010. One of the album's tracks, "Wild and Young", served as the theme song for WWE's show WWE NXT and was featured in the 2010 animated film Alpha and Omega. The band disbanded in 2011.
