Amanda Ulrika Magdalena Mair, also known as Amanda Mair, born on June 14, 1994, in Stockholm, Sweden, is a singer and musician known for her contributions to folk music. Raised by Finnish and Austrian parents who owned a bakery, Mair was influenced by her sisters. She began her musical journey at the Rytmus Musikergymnasiet in Stockholm. At 14, Amanda Ulrika Magdalena Mair recorded songs with Tom, the drummer from Club 8, which led to her signing with Labrador Records in 2010. Her debut single, "House", was released in 2011 and received positive reviews, including praise from The Washington Post. In 2012, Amanda Ulrika Magdalena Mair released her self-titled debut album Amanda Mair, which peaked at number 16 on the Swedish album charts. She has embarked on tours throughout Sweden, the UK, Europe, and China to promote her album.
