Biography
Adrian-Floru Enescu was born on March 31, 1948, in Romania. Enescu was a composer of film soundtracks and contemporary music who graduated from the Ciprian Porumbescu Music Conservatory in Bucharest. He pioneered the local electronic music scene during the 1970s and 1980s. Discography releases include the symphonic pop album Basorelief (1976) and the electronic albums Funky Synthesizer vol 1 (1980) and Funky Synthesizer vol 2 (1984). Compositions include the jazz album Bird in Space (2013) and the film score for Kira, Kiralina (2014),. Enescu composed music for ballet in Italy, China, and Australia, as well as theater productions in countries including Romania, Japan, and Canada. Enescu died on August 19, 2016.
