Adi Smolar, born on March 25, 1959, in Slovenj Gradec, SR Slovenia, Yugoslavia, is a Slovenian singer-songwriter and composer. In his youth, he played various instruments and sang in choirs. At eighteen, Smolar took up the guitar, which became his signature instrument. He debuted in 1981 with original songs and released his first album, NaÅ¡ svet se pa vrti, in 1989. Throughout the 1990s, he continued releasing albums, including Jaz sem nor in 1997 and Je treba delat in 1999. Smolar's music remains a significant part of Slovenian rock, with notable works like Se poÄasi daleÄ pride released in 2011.
