Biography

Adam Buxton, born Adam Offord Buxton on June 7, 1969 in London's Shepherd's Bush, is a British actor and comedian. He attended Westminster School, where he befriended future comedy partner Joe Cornish. Buxton's first television appearance was in an episode of Channel 4's Takeover TV in 1995. With Cornish, he formed the comedy duo Adam and Joe, creating The Adam and Joe Show for Channel 4 from 1996 to 2001. Buxton's solo work includes collaborations with the band Radiohead, directing videos for "Jigsaw Falling into Place" and "Nude". He released his first album, Science Songs, in December 2018. Since September 2015, he has produced The Adam Buxton Podcast, interviewing cultural figures such as Paul McCartney and Brian Eno. His memoir, Ramblebook, was published in September 2020.
