Biography

Matthieu Ziegler, known as Jah Acid Dub, is a French dub artist born in Paris. Influenced by jazz, acid jazz, Indian music, and reggae, he became known for his unique sound, which blended dub with elements of electro, ambient, and psychedelic music, all produced in his home studio, The Bad Weed Studio. Notable albums include New Land Dub (2000) and Delayrium (2011). Jah Acid Dub has performed at major events like the Nuits Sonores Festival and the TÃ©lÃ©rama Dub Festival and was also recognized for his work as a painter and digital artist under the name Matzig.
