Biography

Abominator, a metal band from Melbourne, Australia, was formed in 1994 by Chris "Volcano" Broadway and Andrew "Undertaker" Gillon. The group initially released their first demo, Barbarian War Worship, in May 1995. In the following year, they signed with Necropolis Records and released their debut album, Damnation's Prophecy, in March 1999. This album featured the track "Debauchery (The Sinner’s Hammer)". The band then transitioned to Osmose Productions for their second album, Subversives for Lucifer, which was released in September 2001 and included a bonus track, "Urge to Retaliate". In 2003, Abominator released Nuctemeron Descent through the same label. The band continued with The Eternal Conflagration in May 2006 under Displeased Records. They also released the compilation Barbarian War Worship in 2010. Their final album, Evil Proclaimed, was released in 2015 by Hells Headbangers. Throughout their career, Abominator toured extensively and collaborated with notable acts such as Mayhem and Incantation.
