Biography
The Fling is a band from Long Beach, California formed in 2007. The group released their debut album, When the Madhouses Appear, on Lady Monk Records in late 2010, earning critical acclaim and leading to a deal with Dangerbird Records for a re-release in early 2011. This period saw the band touring alongside Delta Spirit and Darker My Love. The Fling followed up with the EP What I've Seen in 2011 and their second full-length album, Mean Something, in 2013. The song "Out of My Head" from their debut album was also notably featured in the end credits of the American comedy-drama series Orange is the New Black.
