Benjamin Thompson III, known professionally as Mista Madd and Madd Hatta, is an American rapper and record producer from Houston, Texas. He began his music career in 1995 with the release of All About Me and Serious. In 1997, he released The pH Factor, followed by Mista Madd & The Supa Thuggz in 1999. His subsequent albums include Can I Live? (2000) and Still Standing (2007). Mista Madd is also known for his work as a radio personality, having hosted the Houston-based radio talk show Madd Hatta Morning Show on KBXX 97.9 The Box. He curates Klassic Joints and Super Throwback Party, two digital streaming apps that play classic hip-hop and R&B from the 1990s to the 2000s.
