Biography

89ers is a German dance group consisting of Paul Hutsch and Claudia Heymanns. The group gained prominence in 2002 with their hit "Wap Bam Boogie", which was featured on Future Trance Vol. 20. They continued with the release of the EP Kingston Town in 2003, a cover version of UB40's classic song. In 2005, they released a cover of F.R. David's "Words", and in 2006 a cover of "Blue (da Ba Dee)". The same year saw the release of singles such as "Ritmo Forte" and "Higher Love". 89ers became known for their numerous remixes, including works for artists like Cascada and Don Wayne.
