In 2000, they founded their own label, La Mami Internacional, and released their third album, La Mami Internacional. The album was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in the Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album category. Despite disbanding in 2008, 7 Notas 7 Colores left an impact on Spanish hip-hop culture with their distinctive lyrical themes and musical style.
