Biography

7 Notas 7 Colores, a Spanish rap group formed in El Prat de Llobregat, Spain, in 1993. The original lineup included Dive Dibosso, DJ Neas, Eloy, and Mucho Muchacho. Their debut release was the album Hecho, es Simple in 1997. Following the departure of DJ Neas and the addition of Eddy la Sombra as an MC, the group released their second album, 77, in 1999. This album marked their entry into the AFYVE charts, making them the first Spanish hip-hop group to achieve this milestone. In 2000, they founded their own label, La Mami Internacional, and released their third album, La Mami Internacional. The album was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in the Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album category. Despite disbanding in 2008, 7 Notas 7 Colores left an impact on Spanish hip-hop culture with their distinctive lyrical themes and musical style.
