Biography

Lee Ho-hyeong, known by his stage name 250, is a prominent South Korean electronic musician born on April 11, 1982. He has made a significant mark in the music scene with two studio albums, One Night Stand released in 2014 and Ppong in 2022, after a six-year development phase first announced in 2016. As a longtime DJ in Itaewon, he launched his career with the single "다시 부르기" in 2013. 250's work extends beyond his solo projects as he has collaborated with well-known artists like E Sens, Kim Ximya, and groups such as NCT 127, Itzy, and NewJeans. His innovative approach to blending traditional trot and ppongjjak music earned Ppong critical acclaim and led to his documentary Finding Ppong. His contributions to music were recognized at the 2023 Korean Music Awards where he won four categories including Album of the Year and Artist of the Year. Additionally, he has produced multiple hits for NewJeans and remixed tracks for their remix album NJWMX released in December 2023.
