Em Beihold â born Emily Beihold on January 21, 1999, in Glendale, California â is a singer and songwriter of American and Iranian descent. She is best known for her series of singles and videos which have been extremely successful on several social media platforms. She became interested in music as a child and by 2016, she had completed her musical education was performing live. Em Beihold released her first EP, Infrared, in 2017. She caught the attention of music promoters Live2 LCC and they began to promote her music via social media. While constantly posting on social media, she also released a series of singles including âBlink of an Eyeâ (2019), âCity of Angelsâ (2020), âDrive by Loversâ featuring Peachy King (2021), and âNobody Else.â In 2021, her single âGroundhog Dayâ became a viral sensation and earned her millions of streams. Her viral success led to her signing with Republic Records and releasing the single âNumb Little Bug,â which climbed to number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single also made it into the Top 40 in the UK, New Zealand, and Australia. That same year, her duet with Stephen Sanchez on âUntil I Found Youâ reached number 23 on the Hot 100 and went platinum too. Em Beihold followed up with âFantasyâ with Lauren Spencer Smith and Gayle in 2023 and collaborated with the Italian producer Meduza on âPhone.â In 2026, she released her debut album Tales of Failed Shapeshifter, featuring singles âBrutusâ, âHot Goblinâ and âScared of the Dark.â
