17:28 was a boy band from the Philippines active during the early 2000s. The group consisted of Gian Magdangal, Jonard Yanzon, Chino Alfonso, and Joaquin "Wackie" Valdes. They formed while in college and were discovered by producer Vic Del Rosario at a live bar gig. The band gained recognition after participating in the Jam Himig songwriting contest with their reinterpretation of "Last Love Song" and winning the 8th Katha Music Awards for "Network I." In 2002, they released their self-titled debut album 17:28, featuring tracks like "Sukob Na" and "Come Breathe Me." Joaquin "Wackie" Valdes left the band in late 2002 to focus on his studies. In early 2004, they signed with Viva Records and released their second album Cozy, which included singles like "S.H.B.G." and "Close Your Eyes." The group disbanded before 2005, with members pursuing different paths.
