Biography

O‑Town, an American boy band formed in 2000 during the first season of the reality television series Making the Band, comprised Erik‑Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick, Jacob Underwood, Dan Miller, Ashley Parker Angel, and Ikaika Kahoano; the group originated from Orlando, Florida, where auditions were held. Their breakthrough came with the self‑titled debut album released in 2001, which entered the Billboard 200 at number 5 and sold over three million copies worldwide; the single "Liquid Dreams" peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, while "All or Nothing" reached number 3 and became the highest‑charting single. In 2002, the group issued O2, but the album did not match the commercial success of the debut, leading to their release from J Records and the group's disbandment in 2003. After a decade apart, O‑Town reunited in 2013 and released Lines & Circles in 2014, with the single "Skydive" previewed in May of that year; the EP Part 1 followed in . A subsequent album, The O.T.W.N. Album, followed in 2019.
